I just can't figure out anything right now. Fished main lake long shallow points with crank baits, spinnerbaits, Carolina rig and pitched timber. Moved shallow and threw a shacky head. Just couldnt get enough bites to figure how how to adjust.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Had my dad there this weekend and was disappointed I could get him on fish. Taking my best friend from high school next week and would like to put him on something.

I've not been out much Sid, but I can say when I DID go.. What I thought would
Work, was a waste of time.. What I thought was a waste of
Time.. Worked.. I don't see the water near enough to lead you in the right direction unfortunately.. But, don't hold fast to your old tried and true. Mix it up, try new water, and just enjoy the blessing of being out there. Plenty of dudes on fish I'm sure, and you'll find some too.

Wish I could help bud.

The turn over is done.... I had fish in 25' on baby brush hogs, 3' on spinner baits, 8' on top water, 18' on 6" worm, and 12' on 6" spoon. I tried new water and had luck, tried and true water with luck... all afternoon, evening and into the night. off the lake no later than 3am. Had peaks of ups and downs. The bite got MUCH better when I thought back to things I was told to try that I normally would not. From what I have read on here the last few days there is some spot on info on where to target and what to look for on fork. Just remember it will change tue/ wed when this big cold front hits. Search the forum for tips on fishing after a front.

Most the water I was in was that nasty brown dark water. Found some wAter that looked right and had all the ingredients. Just no go. Fish seemed to be suspended looking at the graph.

Next weekend will be better.. I'll keep telling myself that. If not, I may be on the golf course instead.

I have not been to Fork in a month, but talked to a good friend today that happened to win a boat and he told me that the lake seems to be in a "2nd turnover". I also trust his very experinced opinon.

thats all I got

Try Williams and Little Mustang. I caught 14 bass today, largest 21 inches and a mess of 1- 1.5 pounders! I was throwing a pumpkin 7 inch power worm Texas rigged. Stayed in 5-15 foot of water off the bank. A couple of times I caught 2 fish from the same spot. Hadn't done that in a while! Saturday I only had 5 fish and was throwing the berkley craw. Put the power worm on late and got hit my second cast. So I told myself today after the early bite I was working the pumpkin power worm. I didn't weigh any fish, but I had a blast catching what I did today! I just knew any minute the big momma was gonna hit!!! Most my fish were in Little Mustang today.
