I usually use 1/8 oz...if the wind isn't bad and cover isn't too thick

1/4oz for all around. perfer 1/8 if there isn't any wind and 3/8-1/2 for deep fishing.

Adjust for depth/wind/size of bait I prefer tungsten weights, so much smaller and way more sensitivity! All I throw is Picasso, it's simply the best!

As light as you possible can, but get the fall that you will need to get the plastic to the bottom correctly, do not put a 3/8 weight on if you are shallow, generally shallow, I prefer the 1/8 as well. The man above me said the Picasso weights, he knows his stuff!! Picasso
