Went out yest with a guide {Tim Redden} to the backside of St Jo island. It was a partly cloudy day with occ light winds so it made it diff to see moving fish...After looking in several diff spots, we decided to give up on the black drum and go catch some reds!! We ended up drift fishing over shallow grassbeds closer to shore...we caught multi reds and trout alike..we got our limit but cont to catch and release for sev hours!!
This was te first time I have used a guide here in Port A. A good friend of ours recommened Tim Redden so we went with him.. From the first second we met him, we knew we were going to have a great day! Great boat, great equipment, great attitude, great guide...everything was first rate!! My girlfriend has never really fished in her life and he took the time and effort to show/teach her how to fish w/o making her feel dumb..he did a lot of little things that made our trip a great day on the water!
