I bought 2 used Chronarchs yesterday one of them is actually a SF. My question is that I intend on breaking them down cleaning everything re-lubing and then putting them back together. The problem I’m haveing is removing the cover on the right side of the reels ( the side that the crank is on).

Log on to www.mikesreelrepair.com and pull up a schematic. It will show how the reel goes together and give you part # for any part you need to order.

Well after posting I was able to figure it out. Did a thorough cleaning, re-lubed everything with Quantum hot sauce grease and oil and we are in business.
