Don't feel too bad. Those days seem to happen to me quite regularly. Especially when I'm working on vehicles for some reason...

If possible cut out hole in the floor fiberglass and screw 1 X 2 boards under the floor with half the board under the floor and half of it sticking into the open hole. Cut a new piece of floor the size of the hole fiberglass and screw to the boards showing inside the hole, Presto an instant patch, may not last forever but will probably last as long as the rest of the floor, since it is getting soft anyway. I have used this method on a lot of boats.

At least the bad part is over now. It always happens in 3's. Rangers lost, rods gone, hole in floor. I would also screw down plywood over the top of bad floor cheapest and fastest patch.

Get ahold of North Texas Fiberglass in Denton (if you're not too far from there)

When I read this post the first thing that came to mind was 2 out of the 3 problems could have been avoided. If you have your boat outside and not under a car port...cover it. I'd check my transom if I were you, if that is rotted like your floor, then you might want to look for a new hull. And I would never leave my rods at any length of time in the boat if it weren't locked up in my garage. The locks on rod lockers aren't worth anything...purely there for show.
I would look up Mike Bristow as well from North TX Fiberglass. He's a good guy. Fixed my old aluminum boat and did it for a fair price.

i spent the day today taking the old floor out its not gonna be that hard me any a buddy of mine are gonna get it fixed pretty soon. the most expensive thing is the wood i guess. the boat stays beside my house under a car port. i guess its just time to get the floor redone any way.

Post some specifics on the boat and post a pic or two of the hole. Most anything can be fixed!
