Granbury can be a very tough lake, there are some good "pigs" there but you have to spend a lot of time looking for them. Good Crappie and Striper lake also.

Hey TJ we have a bass club in Granbury that meets the 1st wednesday nite of each month at 7pm at spring creek bbq, and we fish the 2nd weekend thereaftergr....good way to learn about the area and lake! I concur that Gran! bury is a tough lake to pattern, and particularly since we have had several golden algae kills! The lake is very low now, though up about 3 feet since last weekend! Boat docks are predominant fish holders! We have not had a tournament on it in several months due to low water levels, but usually spring is the best time ! The best lake in the area is Squaw Creek at the nuclear plant, which is open f-sunday with a reservation..High water temps make it a great fishery in the cooler months, but tough in summer...be glad to give you any help I can!
