I am considering buying a Team Daiwa rod and was wondering if anybody has had an experience with their rods. I have several Daiwa reels and love them and was leaning toward buying the advantage series rod. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Ags, all I fish with (with one exception) is TD rods. I love the Lite and Tuff series and I have several of the Heartland Z series (no longer available). While I'm not familiar with the Avid series, if they're made anything like the rest, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Yeah I was thinking about buying a St. Croix or shimano rod until I saw that deal. The only problem is that I dont really need anymore advantages. I guess I could just have another spare.

HowdyAgs08-- I know -I'm in the process of going from Abu's to Daiwa's , so it was a OK deal for me. Now I've got Abu as spares...

I have about 10 TDS "Green Handle Rods" and I recommend them. They are around $100. Very light and sensitive.

I ordered and got my 7' MH rod through the Cabela's sale and I could not be happier.

I think I may get the 7'H rod as well.

Advantage is a good selection. I have a couple MH spinning and when they say MH they mean MH. I pity the "fool bass" that is on the receiving end of that hookset.

I went to order another one tonight and apparently the sale is over. I tried to order one of the few rods they still had in stock but it would not cancel the price of the rod

I called this morning. At first they denied there was ever a sale and I said look up my account and you will see there was a sale. They then said the sale was only on a few of the advantage model rods, but I know for sure it was on all advantage series the rods or at least the other rod I wanted thenthey said they would not be able to give me the sale price. I should have acted on it a couple of days ago. Thats what I get for procrastinating.
