What - One or two seats open for 8 hour guided canoe or kayak fishing tour on the Brazos River.

Cost - $100.00 per seat.

When - Saturday Oct. 15th. or Monday Oct. 17th. 8:00 AM - 4:PM.

Where - Brazos River in Hill or Palo Pinto Counties located in North Central Texas. Approximately 1 to 2 hours drive time from the DFW Metroplex.

I am a licensed Texas river guide and paddlecraft fishing specialist. My service offers year around canoe and kayak fishing trips dedicated to the beginning or experienced angler looking for a paddlecraft fishing adventure on some of Texas' most scenic, rugged and unspoiled rivers. I have over 23 years experience paddling and camping Texas rivers, while fishing for a wide variety of Texas most popular gamefish. It will be my pleasure to teach you the difference that my intimate knowledge, combined with the stealth of a paddlecraft can make on the river.

What is included - I will furnish everything, including fully rigged, sit on top kayaks or canoes required for our adventure.

Customer responsibilty will be proper attire, food, drinks, snacks and fishing license.

Customer furnished kayaks, canoes and associated gear is welcome, but not required. Just let me know in advance.

Fly fishing anglers will need to supply their own rods, reels and terminal gear. Again, just let me know in advance.

That was some trip! I spend the entire day Sunday recuperating.

Caught plenty of fish. Trip was suppose to go from 8-4pm, we end up staying til 7pm. Shane didn't mind that we wanted to fish a little longer. Shane was very helpful, learned quite a bit. We fished while he did all the work. I definitely recommend you going out there.

Here is something i suggest.

1. Don't wear tennis shoes (what was i thinking????)
2. DO NOT put your electronics in a zip lock bag (i have a wet iphone to prove it). Give it to Shane or just leave it in your car.

Here is the best part. My wife noticed I had so much fun (I kept talking to her about the trip), she asked me last night to buy my own kayak. I told her its not cheap, she asked me if $2000 is good enough. So now I am looking for a Native Mariner 12. I am stoked right now!!
