and get back late sunday night wife cant go this time if there is anyone who seriously wants to go give me a message. i come from port lavaca and any of the following towns are on my drive rockport, refugio, gregory, corpus, kingsville, falfurrius, hebronville basically 35s to 77s to riviera then hang a right to hebronville then down to zapata
i usually stay at the state park to save money but am thinking of staying in zapata this time cause i want to fish that area of the lake must want to fish hard but still have fun

generally its 35 a night at the state park for an a/c cabin
and i have a park pass so i get something like 1/2 off everyother night so like 50 bucks divided by 2 for lodging
last weekend i burned 130 in fuel and additives in the boat but i drove my butt off i usually dont spend that much in boat fuel
figure 100 bucks divided by 2 for the boat (its a 300 hpdi)
if your gonna meet me there then whatever its gonna cost in fuel for your vehicle and whatever its gonna cost to feed yourself
eat. sleep. fish!
theres fast food and cheap mex restaurants in zapata
i usually bring a cooler and bbq dinner at the park sat night
and have pb&j on the boat with tons of water and gatorade
i bring beer but i hardly ever drink it im so done after a full day in the sun
if we were to stay in zapata i think hotels are 60-70 a night divided by 2 and then i wouldnt grill i would just eat at a restaurant
its probably less than 200 for food and boat and lodging
its the gas getting there that adds up its about 150 bucks round trip for my yukon
youll also want a mexican fishing license 45 bucks

Mexican fishing license at Falcon Lake Tackle cost me 60 for a year two weeks ago
,

If you have the time this is a trip of a lifetime, Falcon is Hot right now for big fish, we had 61.80 for two days in Champs and got one of the last checks.
