Hi all,
What do you guys use for prebaiting carp. If I use corn I attract a lot of turtle, If I use boilies I attract tons of catfish....
I choose the instant way of fishing now, although I really like prebaiting ...
thanks

Those are all good methods of prebaiting. Just accept the fact that you're going to have to wade through the nuisance species to get to the goodies.
Keep us posted.

Try fishing really early or after dark. Turtles go to sleep when it's dark. Enough turtles in your swim will keep the fish away.

Turtles never sleep. If they are not stealing your bait, they are getting together to plot how they are going to get it.

Those bastards are not put off by Pre-prepared chili tiger nuts. They kept chomping on them but the baits can weather a turtle attack for quite a while. Can't wAit for it to get cold so those suckers hibernate.

Just like nuisance fish in the UK eating their carp baits and stuff, we have nuisance species in the form of turtles, catfish and the occasional sunfish. You just gotta get used to it.... and pack a low caliber rifle in your car >:D
