My fishing buddy says I could write a book on the things I have snagged while throwing a crankbait. Mussels, snails, carolina rigs, a brick etc. Anyone else helping clean the lake bottom? Oh and the wife recently caught a Falcon/Cara Head Turner with a BPS Bionic blade left handed reel. I told her she has the gift!

Snagged a beaver once reeling in a tubebait with an exposed hook. Put up an incredible fight. Started thinking about how I would ever get the hook out if I ever got it to the boat and just put my hand over the reel to stop the line and it snapped.

Definitely had one pissed off beaver-kept sufacing around the boat for awhile then took off. These things are mean!!!!!

Mattress, half a loaf of bread in a bag, shopping cart, outdoor carpet, lawn chairs, snapping turtles, gar, mussels, deflated beachball, bunkboard off boat trailer, pieces of metal. Thats just off Texoma and I'm leaving out several items listed above I've snagged too. Needless to say fishing a crankbait around docks brings interesting things to the boat sometimes. I almost had a partner snag a loon once on a chatterbait, apparently they don't like a chatterbait hitting them in the head and they'll chase it all the way to the boat.

Licence plate, snake (freak paddle accident, it died before he got to the boat) I caught a brick on a point that had a piece of old trot line tied to it, on that brick was a crankbait and line, on the end of that line was a reel and a rod. After the tournament a friend told me he snagged something and had dropped his rod, I gave him the rod. what are the odds of 2 people snagging the same brick the same day. I caught a goose once on a carolina rig, it wasnt hooked, just wrapped the leader.

My buddy snagged something one morning at Lewisville. Kept pulling and pulling until it finally broke free. Got it to the boat and it was a womens new high heeled shoe. Kinda freaky when you think about it. What's a highed shoe doing on the bottom of the lake?

Snagged a sea gull while casting to a school of sand bass once. Had to reel it in and unwind my slab / hair jig rig. The bird was fine, and after pecking the heck out of me at first, it actually calmed down and sat in my hand a few seconds before flying back to the buffet. bouncy

I caught a pistol in a leather holster at a pond across the street from a hospital in Lubbock.
