Ok, I'm sure this has been discussed several times but I still dont know the answer.
I would like to know what the difference is between the years of Navionics cards? I am looking for a card for mapping of the "south" region and I have heard that cards manufactured in certain years are better than others. So, whats that story?
I'm going to be using the card in my HDS7... Any information would be great... Or recommendations for another type mapping card even.
Thanks!

It is my understanding that the Bottom line is you need a 2010 or newer card for you HDS7.Cards Before 2010 were 2.5 and you need a 4.0 card for your unit.

Sugest you contact www.navionics.com directly and ask them. I had a question about a South Chip last year and found them to be very helpful.
