Good deal. I wish you all the best with that. Very important to do what you love for a living. You will be better at it and get more from it. Crossed fingers.

I am about to graduate from A&M WFSC program with an emphasis in Aquatic Ecology & Conservation (fish only)... There are not too many of us fish only guys here in the department but it is amazing. You will absolutely love it here at A&M..

PM me if you have any questions.. I can get you hooked up with some people in the department if you need or if you want to come down I can show you around campus/the WFSC department.

That's awesome man! I am heading the same way too. I got my associates in wildlife management at a community college, working on the bachs now in ecology, and might heading towards college station in a couple of years. What kind of stuff are you doing right now whisker? Any ideas for jobs that can get my foot in the door, or get some beneficial experience?

Right now I am just finishing up. I am not even taking any wfsc classes which sucks. I am applying to grad school and jobs right now as I graduate in December.

As far as stuff to do before you get here, if you need a job you should obviously get one, but if not, I would highly suggest volunteering with tpwd or something. It will get your name out there and it will build your resume early which is very very very important!!! Very! It will not really help you get in to A&M, but it will get you off to a great start.
