look on craigslist for some fishing and hunting mounts they go for a decent price i would try flea markets also and look for old tackle/rod and reels and maybe find some fishing and hunting photos online or of yourself or family print em up and go somewhere like big lots or a place like that and look for picture frames. good luck!

I was under the impression it was ILLEGAL to sell mounts. Or is that just illegal for the taxidermist???

We've bought several differnet mounts, lots of fish, deer heads and a duck, flea markets are the place.

I used to have a collection of old fishing reels with ads from old magazines for them in a glass top coffee table. It looked pretty cool to see the same reel next to its ad. The ads were easy to find at Canton. The reels were my grandfather's. I also had some old fishing poles in the corner. A turned over metal minnow bucket with lures spilling out of it. An old fisherman's hat with lures stuck to it. Old lure boxes and an old tackle box. You can get pretty creative for cheap with that kind of stuff.

Out at the lake cabin, we have stacks of old minnow buckets, put candles in them, looks pretty cool, you can also put ol rods in'em. You can find old rods on craigslist for next to nothing, old wood skis are cool too. Old boat props make cool candle holders. You need to find a lobster pot to make a coffee table out of, that'd be cool.

Old metal minnow bucket put a light inside for special lighting effects. Old rods and reels mounted around the upper walls like a border. Also have made shadow boxes of old reels and tackle.
