Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any advice or direction on how to go about getting names engraved on fishing reels. I am getting married next month and want to get the groomsmen reels with their name on it. I haven't choosen a reel and do not know where I could get the engraving done.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Jacob

I think you could engrave the side of an ABU pretty easy, (I have never engraved a reel but have engraved a lot of other stuff) the flat side and color would be easy to scratch try a jewery store in the area PS congrads on the marriage and can I be a groomsman and get a reel

Thanks everyone!!! I wanted to find presents for the groomsmen that were unique and in common with all of us. We all have been going fishing together for years and the reels seems like a perfect idea. I was thinking about an abu baitcaster but was kind of afraid that the paint would start chipping from where the engraving started. Gulf_addict- Is J&M tackle an online store or in Houston? Markit- If I have anyone drop out I'll give you a call Thanks everyone and keep the ideas coming

Ficuso,
If you are gettin ABU's for the bunch, check out Bass Pro Shop. 5500C3 are $39.88. $30.00 off and 6500C3 are $49.88. Also $ 30.00 off. Congrats on the wedding. Maybe they will cut you better deal depending how many you need...and of course, let them know you are getting married. Maybe they can hook you up somehow.

Thanks everyone for your replies. If some drops out of the wedding I might as well have a complete stranger stand in. I can't seem to find the 5500c3 for the 39.88 price. If someone can direct me where to find them online or in a store close to Austin for that price I would be forever grateful. Thanks again
