That's really cool! I've personally seen three Presidents but only actually met one. Former President Bush (41) comes to A&M often for his Presidential Library. He is incredibly accessible and he is a like a rock star when he is on campus. He even did a promotion ceremony for one of my sergeants several years ago. He hand wrote a excuse letter for the sergeants daughter to say she couldnt be at school because she was with a former President of the US. I dont know if she realized how cool it was to have a personal letter written by a President. My family and I also witnessed President Reagan's motorcade after he died was being taken to the Capital. Hundreds of thousands of people were there to honor him that day. Again, congrats to your son for meeting the President!

Congrats to you and your son.
Its nice to see almost everyone here showing the respect a president deserves, no matter how you feel about him. I dont understand the mentality of "i disagree with you so i hate you". Its good to disagree, it makes people ask questions and often leads to better understanding.

Congrats to your son. I got to shake W's hand when he came to Houston during his second term. I also got to shake Clintons hand when he was governer. So thats like 1 and a half presidents???? And I agree with all on here, he is our president, love him or hate him, he's doing the job. Just pray that he does better.
