I lost (for the second time) a reel handle cap screw for my Daiwa Regal Z 2500. Does anyone where I can get the part without paying big shipping fees. I had a place in Dallas ship me one but they charged $7.50 for the 1.39 part. I may try to figure out some kind of lock washer next time. Louis

Answering my own question...Daiwa at 562 802-9589 is shipping out a couple of them at NO CHARGE! Nice to see some real customer service.

That is good to know. If you are talking about the cap that fits over the screw on the opposite side from the handle, that is the ONLY problem I have had in 3 years of owning a Regal Z 2000. Otherwise, it is the best reel I ever owned at preventing line twist.
I have to make a conscious effort to tighten that screw cap every 10-15 casts as it will work off.
Thanks for the info on where to get replacements if they are ever needed.

Fix: One small drop of 242 LokTite on the threads. It will hold but you can break it loose when you need to.
Daiwa customer service has always been great to me.
