 Need river conditions at Lake Caddo

Hi, newbie here. I need some river conditions on Caddo.
We will be going up Oct. 17th and staying at the Island Inn on Cypress Village Rd. I've got a 18' bass boat and planning on putting in at the at the State Park and motoring to where we'll be staying. How's the river and is there anything I need to know. Thanks in advance.

River is running slow and about 1ft .6 or more low, inches low, if you have never been on Caddo before GET a current MAP and take a GPS YOu will get lost very easy if you stray off the mail river / lake.

Thanks, I've got a current map and gps unit on the boat, I'll probably be staying in the main river. Hope to catch some crappie and bass.

It is the lowest I have ever seen it in 30 years. Can't paddle to Goat Island. Haven't looked at SP area.

Thanks for all the info, just hope I can get from the state park to were we're staying, it looks to be about 5 miles or so.
