Anyone fished Proctor from the bank lately? Going this weekend to try for some kitties from the bank. Any help with bait or areas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Charles

Thanks albertking! That's what I was going to do. Take my thrownet and catch some shad and try to catch some blues or channels. Appreciate the info!

Banked Sowell Creek day use yesterday Friday 5:00pm to 9:00pm; rock point and brush north of dry fishing pier. First throw of the cast net netted around 75 shad anything from large gizards to thread fin about 2". Rod bent double about 5 minutes into first cast sure enough thought I had a big blue but turned out to be a 26" striper. Scale wasn't working so have no idea what it weighed but it put up one heck of a fight. I don't care to eat striper so needless to say it was released to fight another day. Caught a couple channels aroung 2 lbs and then the bite just shut down about 6:00 and never got another nibble the next 3 hours.
