Are there are lakes in the Midland area that still have enough water in them to fish?

This is a very tall order. We need the best. Get me MacGruber.

Midland, TX?

Nearest decent fishing waters are Ivie and Alan Henry, both over 2 hours away, both very fishable.

Champion is over at Colorado City, an little over an hour away, is said to have some good fishing, but I haven't fished it in a long time.

Those are going to be your best options. Unfortunately, those are the nesrest "area" lakes! This is the worst place to live if you like to go fishing!
