I have always stayed at the minnow bucket marina with no problems. My advice to you is, put your valuables in your room with you at night because it doesn't matter where you stay, a crook will find a way.... Look out for yourself.

Safest place to stay at fork... IMO Coreys Guest House. It has a hot tub on the back patio, close to the open ramps, and a 3 acre park for a backyard while you stay there. Usually there is a boat house at your disposal also, but at current level you cant even get close to it from the water. It gives you an at home feel when your not on the water, and the hot tub is a welcome site after a hard days fishing! http://www.lakeforkresources.com/guest_house.html

Not trying to hijack, but what about the burning stump? Any reports on that?

Get a Lock Bar put on your boat. you can put your electronics in a storage compartment lock it and no one will get in.

Well the winner is Oak Ridge - thanks for the recommendation.
I spoke with the owner and he said they have 24 hour monitoring with cameras and a well lit parking area. Ramp is also working thanks to some gravel extensions.
No offense to Minnow Bucket but it is just a little too dark in front of the rooms.
LFM was my other choice but I want the convenience of having a ramp right there.
I would like to have a good way to remove my Lowrance equipment each night but am afraid that some of the pins will eventually fail on the connectors. Each one is connected with a Ram mount so removing the head is easy.
Agreed that better safe than sorry by removing as much as possible!
