i just purchased my 5th pinnacle reel and been very happy with them. i just want to know if any body uses them them on a regular basis. i have used the pro metal series the last 2 years and have not had a single problem except the reel foot on one became loose. so if any body could tell me their experience with them would be appreciated. tight lines to all. wink

I have 3 and have been very happy also. I use the Pinnacles and Curado's, and I like both. I have only had the Pinnacles about 5 months, so I don't know if they will have the longevity of the Curado, but they sure fish nice. Also, they're quite a bit less expensive.

I use Pinnacles along side my Curados. I like the way both fish.
Academy has pretty good sales on Pinnacles each month. My first came with a Pinnacle rod that is also nice.

I have 2 of the Pinnacles that Academy sells for $48 and have ended up taking both back because the silver finish on the top of them flakes off. Academy replaced both of them with no questions asked. I just bought a Curado today so I'm anxious to test it out.

I bought one of there spinning reels at the tackle show 6 or 7 years ago for $35. Best money I have spent.

Hook um hard!

sure sounds like you anglers have found some good bargains. However, think about this, if you ever need them repaired, the bargain price just went up because not many shops work on them, but on the other hand, you may not ever need to repair them or clean them and if they crash, just toss in the trash. Somethings to think about when purchasing reels, where can you get it fixed and who has the parts. I like to caution anglers to always inquire about repair issues when purchasing. conniek
