I hear Texoma is a no cull lake. Friend says you catch 20 fish your done only allowed two overs. I thought maybe the rule is you can catch and release just can't cull from your kept fish. Who is right?

Culling refers to taking fish from a life well and replacing it with another, if you immediatly return a fish to the water you are not "culling" you are releasing a fish.

I don't know if it is still like this, but the guides on Texoma generally had a bad reputation of taking you out for an hour or 2, get an easy limit of small stripers, then take you back to the dock. EZ money, but just not right.

When I have booked with a guide on Texoma, it is clear that I want to fish for x number of hours for several hundred $$$, limit or not, or I don't go....................

Some guides make that their rule but it is not the law. You can catch and release all you want. What people ask is that you be ethical say in the case of it is August your catching them deep on a slab and the fish are floating behind you do not sit there and kill 200 hundred just because you can.
