It has been at least a MONTH since I wet a hook and I cant wait to get out there and set the hook on few. I really dont know the condition of the lake, but Im sure I will find fish sometime during the overnight. If anyone has up to date lake and or fishing report, I would be glad to have it. I always seem to be wishing I was fishing. My Passion for fishing needs to be fed! Hope we get some rain soon, Stillhouse looking pretty crazy.

Be very careful. Very dangerous if you dont know the lake. Keep you eyes open. Find grass-find fish. I guarantee you that they wont bite til you get there.

Fish the grass. Trap and a spook jr did some work when I was out there the middle of september. Also had a couple on flukes after blow ups on the ssjr.

If deeper grass is your thing, there is grass down to about 14 ft in places as well.

Its thick and pretty and the fish are loving it.

edit: about mid lake where that first big bend in the lake is, be-careful, I was in 54 ft of water and there were trees sticking out. there were like 3 patches, then all was well and I ran nearly to the bridge.

Are you talking about the bend between Dana Peak and Union Grove or closer to the Isand where you go toward main lake?

You will probably want to stay away from the bridge area now. The river channel is small and the bridge is all but dry. The area Cody is speaking of is in front of what used to be the island lots of trees and nothing marked. Be safe and have fun brother.

was out there monday and was able to put in at Dana Peak park with out any troubles. Plenty of grass right there in the cove with the ramp all the way around towards the main lake headed towards dam. Hope to get back out there this monday and catch some more. Some of the gass clumps are quite thick!!
