Me and my frinds have been going to an pond accros the street and we some times catch some cats but not much luck.What bait should i use to catch some good sized ones THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try hotdogs soaked in olive oil and garlic

Livers or stinkbait

Whatever you got in that pond like Minnows/little perch. Try some stink bait or shrimp. Livers too. Good luck. Post pics of your catch when you get that big one.

i fished some ponds that were supposed to have nice channels in them & used worms, shrimp, liver, stinkbait etc & never caught a thing ... was back working on a well on that same land & we used jumbo grass hoppers & caught some nice channels

We had good luck with shrimp this week.

i relly like the hot dogs and olive oil thanks and dont worry i will post those pics.

just an fyi, if it is a public community pond, thats illegal. if its a private pond, go for it.

i used to use 50 cent packs of "Bar S" hot dogs from Wal-mart at some neighborhood ponds in flower mound and tore them up!

Get hotdogs throw them in microwave for couples of minutes and let it do the magic for you .
