hey yal i was looking at the texas sidewinder rods and i was thinking about getting one. do any of yal have them or used them? they seem like they are real solid rods. thanks for all the help.

Guys I can tell you they are awesome Kit does a great job on all his rods. All I can say is you will be hooked the feel theses rods have is like no other rods you hold they feel good in your hand you will be selling all the other rods you have to order more trust me I KNOW LOL. Hope you like your rods and congrats Kit is one of the best guys you will ever talk to or meet.

I could not agree with Grant2 more. I have 4 of the Sidewinders and love them. I am not sponsored by Sidewinder in any way. Just a great product. You will not be disapointed with one. Kit does a good job building his rods.

NOPE!! I saw a few boats pass my house this morning.... and for the first time I didn't wish I could go too!!

I've used one for over 8 years now, back when the originator of the Sidewinder Rods was making them. Kit puts extreme pride in his work. The rods are beautiful and are awesome to use. I used several of the models all weekend on Amistad. I let my team partner (partner for over 20 years now) use one and he wanted to know how long it would take to get him two of them!! He loved them! I can guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. Just tell Kit what type of fishing you want to do with the rod and he will tell you which one is best for the baits you want to throw with it. I bought one for my Dad a few months ago, and loved it. Very light with superb sensitivity, since then i have bought 3 more. You cant beat the quality of these rods, try one and see for urself. Also kinda kewl to have your name on your rod
