noticed a tree/re-bar in 24' of water out in front of the 830 boat ramp area, just off center, closer to the other side than the ramp side,it's got a small green bouy making it, had no idea there was anything out there. If anyone else knows of any other s%&t in the middle of these creeks...please post..the map doesn't show any tree that far out in that creek..FYI

I was out there on Monday and there are quite a few that scared the you know what out of me. There are alot in Little Lake Creek once you get past the highline. Of course there are a ton exposed now just north of the 1097 bridge that never were before. Luckily, the pleasure boaters are landlocked for the most part so hopefully noone has messed up a boat.

The TTBC is going to be scary this year if your a judge...I better take a second look at my life insurance policy

KVD is going to use a Jon-Boat...hahaha! Seriously, the word on the Lake is that Conroe is pumping into Lake Houston, and is at full pool and releasing into the river.....Is this TRUE? If so, it does NOT make any sense.....To me, anyway....

Conroe is 6.5' low and releasing 150 MGD into the San Jacinto river to lake Houston. The release is to insure the City of Houston can meet it's water needs. Conroe is dropping at a rate of approximately 1.6' per month. Considering Conroe is supposed to be a "constant level" lake, and is lower than it has ever been since fully impounded, it is not looking good if it doesn't rain (and rain and rain and rain) real soon.

And yes, I know, every other lake in Texas is in the same boat (pun intended).

I would think that only power plant lake would be "constant level" lakes.

The good news for Lake Conroe is that it releases 7 feet of water per "average" rainfall year. If we can just get back into that normal rainfall year it wont take too long to bring it back to pool. Hopefully that will start sooner rather then later.

Lakes Conroe and Houston were built to supply water to Houston. No way recreational use will EVER enter into the equation. Sux for property owners, though.

I hear there are plans in the works to cut Luce's Bayou into either the Trinity or San Jacinto. This would enable a new source for Houston, Lake Livingston.

Look at the bright side all you Lake Conroe Homeowner's Association members. Low water means no hydrilla or other submergent/emergent aquatic plants to get in your way, so you're getting something you want from this drought.

Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Fouz, you forgot that now they have to mow all the grass growing up around their docks. What a shame.
