Define "goulash"
I've seen a tomato soup called goulash, and I've seen beef stroganoff called goulash. Define what you're talking about.

Brown a pound of hamburger meat. Add 1 can of rotel and let simmer. Prepare mac and cheese as instructed on box. Combine meat and mac cheese. Good and easy. Salad and garlic bread on side.

1 pound ground beef 1 pound ground veal brown the meat in a pan and drain. 1 yellow onion chopped goes in the pan to sweat. Then add at least a heaping tablespoon of chopped garlic. Then half a can of tomato paste. Then about 2 cups of chicken stock to deglaze the pan and start the sauce. Then add the meat back to the pan. I prefer to add paprika, cumino, salt, pepper, garlic salt, and nutmeg to mine. I add in the dry macaroni and add some heavy cream till everything is damp enough to cook the pasta. I will let it go on low for 20 min. Then I stir in half cup of parmesean and let it sit covered for 30-40 min. I think the letting it sit is the most important part.

I meself uses ground beef, onion, garlic (clove or powder), celery. bell peppers, and cook together until g.beef is throughly cooked. then add 1 can diced tomatoes, cooked elbow noodles (or pasta of choice) tomatoe sauce. For a different taste use pork n beans instead of pasta (or canned baked beans). Yummy!
