I really don't know what time yet. I plan on leaving the Dallas area shortly after I drop my kids off at school. My best bet would be between 5:30 - 6:30pm when I get in the area down there.

I think we need to try to get some piggies if the boat has a place for live bait.

Its been 2 years since I have been on the boat, but they had a more than adequate live well. Someone will post up that info pretty quick I bet.

Dad and I will try to get there as early as possible Thursday, so he can get a bunk he can get in and out of safely. I am hoping for 2:00 in port a.

As far as Live Well goes, Last Year, Scat Cat decided to turn
it into Ice and Fish storage - So, before you spend a lot of
effort on Piggy Patrol - check the Live Well/ Ice Box situation, THe TFF team, filled every box with fish on that
trip. If, the bite is Half of what it was on that trip it will
be a Killer Trip.

I assume they will run the livewell, last year was pretty unusual. But worth it to confirm. I do want to do some AJ fishing. I won't be there until late Thursday night, but plan on staying up late for piggy patrol.
They usually have a bucket for your perch and some bait shrimp. Someone who gets there early needs to have all that set up please. Put a few piggies in the bucket and then shuttle to the boat livewell. To fish for them, you need to bring some small hooks. Everyone forgets them. :-) BTW, do not put anything but piggies in the livewell. Anthing else will attack and kill the piggies.

where do you guys fish for piggies? i will be there about 2am friday i will fish for piggy till about departure time and catch some sleep on the way out.

yall will probably catch ribbon fish, too- off the docks. ask them if they want you to keep them( gotta put them on ice so they stay hard). if yall run far, and decide to troll much- it could be a fun time with fresh ribbons.

I caught a couple dozen ribbons off the back of the boat one night on a very small shad imitation. I really dont know how to use them for trolling so other guys kept them from going to waste while I slept.

I'm looking foward to the report guys. Been waiting for a bad azz GOM tuna report for awhile now. Someone take a video camera on board. If the action is hot and heavy like it was this time last year, you'll get some great video footage. Good luck out there.
