Austrailia had a terrible drought, so they built a buncha desal plants, had enough to sustain the whole continent... then one of the heaviest rain falls on record... everything filled back up and they were fine, but they are ready for the next drought..... High pressure forming over the eastern states is going to change the flow of moisture from the Atlantic. That means the rain that has been flooding the east will be pushed this way.
