Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

Grizz guess I will have to get a cheapo digital camera. The scat cat had a trip this past weekend but i have not seen a report for it, I am not sure it sailed either.

Group email sent to all 24 tunaheads on the Oct.21st-23rd 56 hour Scat Cat tuna charter. Oldester, the S.C. did not sail this weekend.

"Anybody but him!!!" Got chewed out for not making this last tuna trip on the S.C. happen........................OTOH, also have gotten calls from folks looking to join any charter we've been hired to do and they've been very polite and only wanted to see if any spots were available.

The last trip that I went out on in this boat was back in Feb 09 when we ran into 16 ft waves. I am sure hoping for a good trip, but I do know that this boat can handle anything.

Max I am going to consider you bad luck if it gets that rough! Is that the fabled "deadliest catch" trip I have heard about?

It wasn't me that brought the bad luck. All of my previous trips had been under 4ft waves until that one. "Brokejeep" was on that trip with me. I then went on another one that year with him on it on the Big-E and we hit 10 ft waves on that one. I don't think that I'm the bad luck one.

I was on that trip and it was the fabled "deadliest catch" trip. Poor Jody, he had to give up the bluewater. He's more man than I am; if I had gotten sick on all those trips I would have given up a long time before he did.
Now, y'all quit talking about it or you will jinx it. :-)

Seems like I saw Jody make the comment one time that his wife really enjoyed the trips. That is some serious comitment to your spouse if you get sick every time. My wife went with me on my first offshore trip, got sick and has never been back or will be. Cheaper that way I guess!
What time do you guys plan an arriving Thursday? Do we want some piggies for pitch baits?

I contacted Jody by e-mail a couple of weeks ago, and it sounds like he may just be bass fishing Lake Fork now. He was one tough guy to be that sick and keep fishing.
