Navionics Ap for Iphone, it's $9.99 and it kicks !!! The maps are excellent. It's basically like having a GPS with really detailed contours for every lake in the United States. Since I dont have a graph on my kayak I used it to fish some deep structure this last weekend and it was a great tool! Now if they would just make a plug-in for it that had a transducer with side imaging on it! lol

Its a very good iphone app, you just have to look at lake levels also. On alot of lakes you can walk out to the waters edge and on the map it will show you out in the middle of the lake. But still a good app!

Is that 9.99 a month or one time?

You have to have a smart phone with gps and a data plan and it will work. If you don't have a data plan then the $30 a month recurring charge for having the data plan would way outweigh the cost of a gps system. But if you already have the phone and are already paying for the data plan then this is the best deal in town. Just weigh your odds but this is a really cool app.

If a great app. Just watch the drain on your battery if you don't close it.

I bought this app on my I- phone after seeing this thread and have used it on Lake Waco and Belton. This app is excellent for finding structure. Submerged roads flooded timber etc. Not real sure of the depth though.
I went over Lake Mexia heading east on 84 and pulled off the road to get a look at the lake and on the left hand side of the bridge north my navinics was showing 17 ft of water and it was visually bone dry.
Great way to map a lake and mark spots though.
