Sometimes I have to go back and read earlier posts, because I forget. I do appreciate the friendliness of this forum. I check the forum every day, & occasionally see some negative stuff, so I appreciate the reminder to keep things positive. We all want to catch fish, that's why we're on this forum, which is very helpful in that regard. Appreciate the reminder, John.

I think it was good - well recieved - did not give up any spots but I told TONS of HOW TO CATCH FISH through out that post.

What I got back was a lot of flack from other guides on telling all, but - I just hope it helped others - THAT WAS THE POINT.

And that is the point here on TFF - Help others (and help me - I need help too),

John, I agree with 98% of every thing that you wrote. The only exception is line in #8, (If you are looking to agitate people, simply to get a response, or if you are a troller, this is not the place for you.) You may want to re-think the wording on that one!

I've always enjoyed beating a dead horse so I'll throw in too. In the last year my work has become such a good thing that I haven't had the boat in the water much at all in the last year. Reading this forum has become a close second to actual fishing (YES- I know how pathetic that is) and keeping up with what's working, where, lake levels, etc... has been my temporary fshing fun while I've been shoveling coal with both arms. I agree, keep it informative and bear in mind that your kids are probably the only ones that think "You are the man".
