Lone Star Carp Brigade - A movement born from a joke. A fish that no one else wanted. Friendships that will last a lifetime. A group of anglers that can only be classified as HARDCORE. We are dedicated to the promotion, education and camaraderie of carp anglers in the great state of Texas
LSCB has died, it didn't die in vein. We now have a very active / hardcore group of anglers that have carp angling as a shared passion...because of our work...when we started the group we had to have a group....we had to call what we did something because we needed it everyone thought we were nuts but our shared passions spread and others joined.
to the point now, we are established on the TFF and that was the whole point anyway to get recognition for what we do as legitimate angling and to earn the respect for the sport so that other would want to do it.
mission accomplished.
posting this from a muddy bank in south east Texas.
How something can die that only existed in our minds and on t-shirts will only be understood by those that wore those shirts I imagine.

No I am to fat to drink that stuff...just don't think its relevant anymore might as well proclaim it dead and give it a proper send off.
That and a total lack of fish activity.

I think it's too early to call it; especially after the hottest summer on record. I see WAY more activity coming this Fall/Winter.
Shoot- I didn't fish at all this summer, but found a way to get tithe World Championship, where 3 Brigadiers stood on the podium on as part of the Number One Country Team In the World.
The Lonestar Carp Brigade is not dead- Just a little tired from the oppressive heat of 2011.
All we need is a new TShirt.

I think it's too early to call it; especially after the hottest summer on record. I see WAY more activity coming this Fall/Winter.

Pretty sure that's 900% premature lol. Can't really blame a lack of activity given that the summer was approximately 1,000,000 degrees most days, lol.

Or, another suggestion with permission of course would be to put the current logo on the front and the current slogan on the back (or vice versa). Anybody know a printer and would we have permission?
