First time I have actually been stopped on the lake, and I've fished Fork many years. These guys were driving a Skeeter bass boat,"no light bar or trolling motor".The boat is a medium to dark silver flake. They looked like fishermen until they got close. The game warden decal on the side of the boat almost blends in with the color of the boat.

We were completely legal and we don't break laws, but I still think it's awfully sneaky.

Its hard to catch people doing wrong if they can see you coming across the lake.

Good for them. Hopefully they stop more illegal activity out of it.

Don't have a problem with it. I've been checked by one on a jet ski on Lake Lavon. It no different than unmarked police cars, police vehicles that are trunks, SUV, trans sams, etc.

i'd like them out on fork every day. i'd like to see them do more ramp checks, especially pontoons with kids. i see way too many young kids not wearing life jackets.

Just hope it is one of their personal boats or skeeter cut them one heck of a deal on the boat.

If you are legal why does it bother you?

My wife and I were catfishing one day and a 14' flatbottom with a 25 horse motor pulled up and it was two game wardens. One was just about 20 years old and was being trained. Been stopped a few times in my life but the only time by a boat I could outrun.
