Hello to all.
I'm headed to Lake Placid in the morning for the first time. I usually fish Lake Dunlap or Austin area lakes. Do you have any tips for Lake Placid near Seguin? We will be using the launch under IH10.
Thanks!

some good pads down by the dam. also a nice creek maybe a half mile up from the dam (on right if your headed downstream). i like placid better than dunlap for bass fishing. just my opinion.
the lake fluctuates depth more than dunlap you can go from 20ft deep to 3 ft pretty quick in some places. and watch out for skiers cruising around blind curves.

However, I hoped someone would chime in with some tips.. I guess I will just have to take the BIG tackle bag...... As if I wouldn't take it anyway, lol.

i flip and pitch all the docks downriver from the i-10 bridge, also hit up the lilly pads... biffle bugs and berkley havocs were the baits of choice
