My unit stopped working at the end of the day saturday, just thought it was a loose wire.. I started working on it and found no loose wires.. the power comes from a switch near the dash, i tested power to the switch and on the connector on the back of the unit and both seem to have power.. the unit is a little over a year old , so out of warranty if you have any suggestions i would appreciate it,, thanks in advance..

The same thing happened to me. But mine was just 3 weeks old. I didnt have the receipt, all I had was the build sheet but I didnt need it. I went to Cabelas told them what happened and they gave me a even trade but I was soo pissed off at the unit that I just paid the difference and traded for a 334c. If your next to a bass pro or cabelas or any store that carries it,call them and tell them you bought it there but dont have a receipt and ask for a even trade. Hope this helps. Mike

well, i called BPS the guy told me to call the manager back tommorrow that it is possible that they could help me..I also called lowrance, they had me check the power coming into the back of the unit and i was getting power to the back of the unit exactly 14V DC they determined it was the head unit and since it was 3 Mnths out of warranty there was nothing they could do, But if it had been last month they could have helped me..I explained that this problem had occurred a couple of times but it came back on so i thought it was a loose wire..maybe not...they want 170dollars to fix it plus me being stuck without a depthfinder for however long Don't get me wrong i understand that it is no longer in warranty but it is clear their product failed.. any other help would be appreciatd or possibly someone that repairs them locally?
