Cooper lake like all lakes in texas needs alot of rain. Cooper is down over 10ft. There is two ramps open Tira and doctors creek. I have put in at doctors creek the last two weeks with no problems. The water is no more than 2ft deep from the ramp all the way out to open water. I have not put in at tira but I have seen trailers in the parking lot.
The fishing has remained very good most days for hybirds and whitebass. I have been seeing schooling action most every afternoon. They slowed down a couple of days right after a front passed through. I have been catching hybirds from less than 2ft deep all the way out to 12ft deep. For the hybirds I am using a sassy shad with a 3/4oz head from moestackleshop.com. For the whites I an using 3/4oz or 1 1/2oz slabapalooza also from moes.
With the lake being so low right now this is a great time to learn alot about the lake right now. I will continue to run guide trips on cooper as long as we have enough water to let me launch. PM me for a TFF cooper lake special.
Here is a few pics.

That lake must have been boiling with fish today.
