Lake Fork Guides take note. That raises the bar on service level for clients.

Congrats on the 20 plus!

I've been doing research on Peacock bass fishing, I'd heard that the guides quite often go in for the fish, this was cool. Also heard the record is around 27 lbs..

I'm trying to go in November, need to get some sponsors for the art I'll make in Brazil first. Anyone interested PLEASE let me know.

Every time my wife or anyone asks me; where would you travel? The answer is always the same, Brazil.

yea, yea, yea.....I get it. Fishing for Peacock Bass in Brazil has to be awesome. And definitely something every serious freshwater angler would want to do. But, one can't even consider that peacock "landed or caught" if the guide wades into mangrove to net it. Even if it were a PB or for that matter a fish of world record size, the thrill of "catching" it is diminished, as this fish clearly was the victor, imo. That said it is laudable they were able to net and unhook it so it could live to be caught again. Somewhere in that story if I were retelling it would be the phrase, "that peacock kicked my A$$".
