Well with drought we decided to take action, our pond at work dried up and had silted in badly since we dug it 11 years ago. We added some depth a couple deep holes filled with roots, rocks, trees, and some great contours. The pond has bass up to 6 pounds that survived the work and put a little water back in to help out. It's gonna be a blast when it fills up and we can take our sticks out at lunch time for a friendly tournament!

We excavated over 200 loads at 6 cubic yards out this puppy. It's not huge and we left the deep side alone. Just knocked down the channel a few feet to tie them back together. Mad numbers of craw fish, bream, and bull frogs here! So needless to say the old deep side is the shallow side now with some ridges and points. Even threw in a couple cypress trees on the ridge to make it like Rayburn!
