Its an iron dog that looks hand made. I found it metal detecting a 100 year old house today and i have never seen anything like it. Anyone got any info about it? i didn't see any makers marks or anything to I.D. it so i have no clue.

Probably a doorstop. Second thought, it looks a bit small inthe 2nd pic, maybe just some blacksmith art?

It fits in the palm of my hand, I think it was hand made and was simply a little kids toy. I found it under an old tree in the front yard where I would expect kids from "those" days to play.

If it's solid I'd say a doorstop...I've seen them at antique places, Terriers and Boston Terriers, some bulldogs. Cool find!

might just be a homemade sand casting.I made some as a kid.Used a ceramic animal as a template.
