yup first 30 min to 3 hours depending on the day. one day you get the bigger fish good plus release some and some days you get into a few good ones early and its over and after that it's sandies and small stripes which seem to bite all morning long on the flats last few weeks. some days like sunday we got some nice ones at 10-11am with the small stuff.
lake is crazy low over 7 ft and 74 degrees so be careful if you venture on big T. i can't stress this enough!
wicked pic and you can see some boils between us 3"boats"

kids b-day gets a 25 incher woo hoo!

last 2 weeks been ok by sep standards

this was a great topwater day

Nice job and great pics. I love seeing the young ones with bent poles. They are probably hooked for life.

Cool pics Chris! Thanks for sharing. It's been a while since we've been up there. Need to get back this fall.

Keith,
I know, I'm not even going to try to put mine in at Lavon right now & haven't heard much about the ramps at Texoma to know that they are any better. We usually go up in the fall & stay a couple days so we'll soon see.

A buddy of mine just booked a trip for this Sunday with Striper Express out of Mill Creek Marina. Are you going to be our guide? Look forward to the fishing.

Won't be disappointed Croaker. I believe if you do not request chris carey, it'd be with one of his guides. He's a tff super star so there's quite a line for his services.

I will guarantee you he is world famous, he is so good he can put me on enough fish that I can even catch them. So how is that for being good.
