Anyone with experience wanna help? Will pay with cash beer and bbq  Trying to figure out the best way to set the pilings at the end of the dock. Soil is red clay. how does an auger perform in mud? Should I just get after it with a post hole digger?

3" Mud pump worked in my mothers pond.

auger i sat poles in creosote 8" poles in Lake Arlington, 25 years ago, still there
