Went out to Lake Ray Roberts yesterday for the first time. Nice lake.

Notice that minnows were being used - like an idiot -- though I talked to quite a few of the fisherman -- failed to inquire as to where they purchased their minnows.

The shortest drive for me to get to the lake is via 455 from Celina to Pilot Point.

Thank you

Snap Shop, I-35 & 455.
Shell Station, I-35 & Lone Oak Road
The Dam Store, 455 on west side of dam
The Sportsman, 455 east of the Snap Shop several blocks

Also a store in Pilot Point off the square on the way to Jordan Park ramp. Not sure of the name.

twedinger, were you the guy I spoke to at the Pond Creek Access ramp yesterday morning fishing out of the "pirogue"? If so, how did you do. The wind got up pretty rough. We only managed 10, all small but all on jigs. Couldn't hold on BP with all the wind so called it a day and headed home by noon.

i think the cheapest on the east side are downtown pilot point at the turn to jordan park. they'll sell by the pound/half pound too if you need them.
