I have seen alot of posts talking about Bandit cranks. What is it about them that get so many posts? Are they any better than Norman, Bomber, excaliber, etc...?
Just wondering.
Thanks, GB

i consider throwing a bandit as "finesse" cranking because of the very small body profile. i also like the Mustad triple grip hooks that come on them and most run true w/out tuning. being a finesse tactic i believe they put alot of fish in the boat, but on the other hand, joe blow chunkin DD-22's on deep structure could bring in a bigger sack at weigh-in. every crankbait does something a little different, they are just tools and the right tool matched with the right scenario will increase your odds at success. just my 2 cents.

They also hve great colors and run pretty good right out of the package, easy to re-tune.

Great colors, same color patterns availabe in multiple depths, mustad triple grip hooks, run true out of the box and the paint holds up well.

I like the fact that I seem to have a higher percentage of baits that run true right out of the box with a Bandit.

Excellent bait, good price. They are easy to tune and good hooks.I love cranks and this is now what I will throw the majority of the time.I dont get to excited about that many baits but Bandit keps coming out with good colors and has not priced me out of the market.

Thanks for all the posts on bandits. A few weeks ago, I decided to take a look at Bandits cranks on Ebay. I picked up 20, new in package, mixed 100, 200 and 300 series, different colors including some that are discontinued by bandit for the the whoping price of $55 including shipping. That is an average price of $2.75 per crank. Depending on what store I go to, I saved anywhere from .75 to over $1.00 per bait. Ebay has some good deals on some stuff.
Thanks again, Gbrooks
