I have been catching a few in the Las Colinas area. About 3 to 4 ft deep in a culvert.

Grapevine is awesome! They are very hard to get to from the bank this time of year. There are a couple of spots but you would have to walk a couple of miles.

There is a pit off the west end of Singleton Blvd. You need to cross the levee and go south on the road. It is down about a mile on the left..Takes a smaller boat to get in there maybe something that can haul in a truck bed. I have not fished there in a few years but off the north bank there is an island with willows and a channel or hole there. I am not sure if there is still access off Singleton cause I see other levee accesses have been closed. I am pretty sure you can get there off I 30 as well just not an exit. From my past experience...would be worth checking out.

Don`t mean to but in but I use to fish that pit all the time in the 80`s. It was loaded with Catfish!! I was surprised to even find that there were crappie in there, but I don`t know if there is a way to get in there now. Since I last checked, there is no way to access it with a vehicle from the dirt road on the levee because there is a barrier bar there that is always locked & you can`t get around it unless you are on foot.Same thing from I-30.
