I had the privilege of working with Richard on a weekly basis as he was one of our most dependable dealer trade drivers. We always found time to talk about fishing. The guy had mad skills on the lake and was Happy to share his knowledge and give advice even when we were fishing a tournament together on the same lake.our prays go out to his family, he had a special Little girl that will miss him more that words can say. so long old Friend god bless you.

Next time you think your perfect step out of your boat and try walking to shore.

So sad, for Richard had done lots of detail work on my boats, cars and trucks. He will be deeply missed. My prayers go out to the Jenkins family.

This year has been the 7th season that Richard and I have been partners, fishing tournaments all over Texas. We met at a Texas Hold'em tournament at one of my pool halls and became fast friends immediately. We didn't always finish in the money, but were prone to win at any time, and we never failed to qualify for the championships. At last count we'd fished more than 100 tournaments together, with each and every one a terrific experience. This was all possible thanks to Richard's love of the sport and dedication to excellence. Our friendly rivalry fishing individual events was what made those tournaments especially fun.

The rides to the lake, days on the water, and the recaps afterward will never be the same. He will be missed in my boat more than words can describe.

Prayers from me and mine go out to his wonderful wife Karen and his adorable daughter Chris.

Someplace, somewhere, Richard is still describing in incredible detail just exactly how he caught the last big one that put us into the winners circle.

Prayers sent to the Jenkins family.. Just saw Richard a little over a week ago, as always he had a big smile on his face and greeted me with a handshake. The fishing world lost a good one... RIP.

Prayers out to the Jenkins family, Mr.Jenkins was definitely one of the nicest man/fisherman you would ever meet, would always have a smile on his face and a handshake for ya...regardless of how he did in any tournament...true advocate for the sport of bass fishing and just a person in general....

If only i had enough time to make one more cast!

Hate to hear this, I enjoyed talking to Richard at Media tournaments. My sympathy to the family and to his fishing partner Hutch.
