Wow that is depressing. I would gladly take a hit from a hurricane to help this drought. The odds of that happening this year don't look good though. Just out of curiosity, how many lures did you find attached to those trees?

wow....yes we do need rain alot of it.

i have to say thou, those are some incredible photos, especially the hawk.

sometimes nature gives us incredible views and pictures in the worst of conditions....

looks like a good time for some strategic structure

Pretty crazy, when I look out back from the office,
it looks like a set from a syfy thriller,
some weird dry lifeless planet.

This time last year, kayaking every day,
shooting photos of all the life our East Texas has to offer:
fish, otters, herons, eagles, egrets, alligator,
bob cat, deer, ducks, rabbit, bass, bass, and bass.

Now where there was so much life,
there really is nothing.
Buzzards, and a few hawks.

The hawk in the photos was busy catching a tasty dinner,
dragon flies and crickets.
He actually looked pretty beefy,
considering his diet of bug dinner.

Food seems in high demand these days.
We need rain.....
