 Transducer Misaligned??

Bought a new Tracker and when I am at low speed the DF works fine. When I increase the speed all I see is specks on the screen and the last depth flashes. Is the transducer not aligned to the hull in the proper position for high speed running? It is a Lowrance X47TX. Thanks for any help.

the transducer is not reading through water- air is getting between the lake and transducer --where is the transducer located on the boat ?
