i need some help finding out who makes a lure and what it's called: it comes in 5/8 ounce it's black with a white skeletal design has yellow and black eyes the back has a prop the front is slanted underneath to create a slight chug and has no prop seem like it had the name hell in it but it's not hell cat, hellbender, or hell raiser.
important to me because this was my dads favorite lure, he even had a nickname for it, he caught most of his fish on it.

not a zara spook. its not a devil's horse (there's no prop on front)
it had 1 set of hooks on the belly and 1 set on the tail.
i've searched the internet for a picture of it, and nothing but i think it probably is a heddon.

The closest I can come to, with the information that you have given me, is a coldwater hell diver.

It sounds like a Hellraiser I bought one years ago in Many Lousiana. I'll look at it and see what brand it is.

I can't find a name on the lure I have, but it is just like the one you describe except it is gray instead of black. On the undercut on the nose it has 2 little dimples. I know it is a hellraiser, but I can't find the company that makes it.

http://lureexchange.com/texaslures.htm Look at the whopper stopper that is yellow with black spots. It is a Hellraiser' but is made by Whopper Stopper. I think that is what you are looking for with a different paint job.
